Al-Qaeda Declares It Will Use Pakistan’s Nukes To Strike Unites States

Mustafa Abu al-Yazid, the top Al-Qaesa leader in Afghanistan has declared that Al-Qaeda will use Partisan's nuclear weapons against the United States during an interview with al-Jazeera television.

In a statement during the interview he directly said, "God willing, the nuclear weapons will not fall into the hands of the Americans and the Mujahideen would take them and use them against the Americans."

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari maintains that his country has a strong command-and-control system for its nuclear weapons and has ruled out the possibility that their nuclear weapons might fall into militant hands.

However, Mustafa Abu al-Yazid believes that pro-Taliban forces can overpower the Pakistani military in thein the northwestern areas and get hold of the nuclear weapons. He went on to say,"We expect that the Pakistani army would be defeated (in Swat) ... and that would be its end everywhere, God willing."

During an April interview with Fox News, US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, said the US was worried about the "unthinkable" in Pakistan -- that the Taliban and al-Qaeda could topple the government, and get their hands on "the keys to nuclear arsenal."

I've been warning about this issue for a while now, see these posts:

Nuclear Attacks May Be More Likely In Coming Years and How To Survive One

The North Koreans have stated they are going to re-establish their nuclear capabilities. The Iranians are actively seeking nuclear material and believed to be seeking nuclear weapons. The Pakistanis already have what is believed to be 120-200 nuclear war heads.

In addition Pakistan has allegedly started making more weapons, though they publicly deny it, they also have the worst history as far as spreading nuclear knowledge and have assisted in nuclear proliferation in the past. Worse still Pakistan is being over-run by radical fundamentalists that would like nothing more than to destroy the United States and its allies.

Reportedly, though unconfirmed some of these radicals in Pakistan may already be in control of some of the nuclear sites within the country.

The likely hood of a nuclear attack inside the United States is increasing day by day, and I am not just talking about dirty bombs, but actual nuclear weapons.

Whether it is from a small suitcase type weapon, small nuclear device or bomb inside a truck, a missile launched from a ship close to our shore or even an ICBM launched by another state or group the threat is real.

Though I hope and pray I am incorrect this could happen in a time frame sooner than you may think, even in the next 3 to 10 years. In truth it may even happen tomorrow since I can't say when for certain, but you must know that the capability for it happening upon us.

The Missile Defense Program, which has seen much success has also taken a hit further reducing our capabilities to respond to several types of these attacks.

In addition we are completely unprepared right now for such an attack. Both from a national security stand point and in our private sector.

Think about it. If such an attack were to occur right now. Today. Would you even know what to do to survive? Most people do not know what to do.

Though there are a number of things you can do to prepare for such an attack, one thing is learning what you can do to better your chances for survival.

Below is a video from TED presented by Irwin Redlener on Surviving a Nuclear Attack. It is an excellent resource and a great place to start in learning what you can do to survive.

Hope you enjoy it.

Pakistain Near Collapse, Nukes Will Fall Into Terrorist Hands

I have been talking about this for a while now, mostly to people in my inner circle.

Al-Qaeda and the Taliban have had pretty much free reign over the northern regions of Pakistan for quite sometime.

Pakistan has done little to stop it, and it has resulted in widespread terror attacks throughout the country.

Recently, the Taliban was allowed to impose Shari'a law over what is known as the Swat Valley inside Pakistan.

This has allowed them to establish a base of operations, just as they had pre- 9/11 and scarier still, has given them a foothold in a nuclear powered country.

Reports have come in through various channels that the country is near collapse. Something the Taliban and Al-Qaeda would love, and would give them cause to establish rule over the entire country and access to nuclear weapons and missile capabilities.

Though I hope that this scenario does not occur, it is highly likely.

Basically I feel like our eye is off the ball and steps are being taken on a daily basis to weaken our National Defense. Folks this issue is real, and it presents a major problem. The likely hood of Pakistan falling into terrorist hands is a greater possibility than Iran obtaining nukes, not that either is agreeable.

If we do not keep our Missile defense program, we may see a nuclear attack on the U.S. within the next 15 years.

Check out our post on The Importance of Missile Defense.

Obama Wants To Kill Missile Defense, This Is Why You Should Not Let That Happen

National security is an extremely important issue to me, and should be for every American.

Under the Constitution, it is the responsibility of our federal government to provide for the common defense of the nation and its people.

However, the current administration and some others do not feel that the role of missile defense is important. They want to do away with and completely scrap the progress that has been made in this area in the last 26 years.

It would take only 33 minutes for a ballistic missile launched on the other side of the world to hit its target in the United States. Just one missile armed with one nuclear warhead would have a devastating effect on the entire Country.

Just one well placed missile over the Continent detonated in the atmosphere would produce an EMP that would wipe out all electronics in the United States, parts of Canada, and Mexico.

Please watch this video, and go to the site 33 Minutes.

If you can, go see the full one hour documentary as well.
